Kate Grenville’s Restless Dolly Maunder Shortlisted for the Women’s Prize for Fiction

We are delighted to announce that Kate Grenville's incredible tale of a pioneering women carving out space for herself in the world, Restless Dolly Maunder, has been shortlisted for the 2024 Women's Prize for Fiction.

Previously a winner of the Women's Prize for Fiction and a Booker Prize shortlistee, Kate Grenville has published 7 books with Canongate, including her celebrated The Secret River and The Lieutenant. Chair of the judges of the Women's Prize, Monica Ali, said:

This year’s shortlist features six brilliant, thought-provoking and spellbinding novels that between them capture an enormous breadth of the human experience.
